The Skinny: March 26, 2017
Headlines & Sunday Announcements
March 26 @ 5:00PM / Christ Resurrection Church
The West Charlotte Coalition is committed to an intentional pursuit of reconciling relationships and corporate worship together. We express this by bringing our churches, ministries, organizations, and leaders together on the last Sunday of the month at one of the Coalition’s venues. This month, Pastor Jon Stone will be teaching on one of our core commitments: Why We Worship Together. Join us for an evening of great music and teaching, communion, and community connection.
The gathering will be hosted by Christ Resurrection Church, 4527 Freedom Drive, Charlotte.
Tonight @ 7PM / In the Coffee Room
This evening we’ll be hosting the second of three original play readings in the coffee room. This month the play featured is “Getting Mother Settled,” an exploration of generational female relationships within a North Carolina family that puts them at odds with their faith and one another. There is some mature language in this play, so we recommend it for ages 14+. Doors open at 6pm for a bring-your-own-dinner gathering, with the reading starting at 7pm.
April 05 @ 6:30PM / In the Coffee Room
Doors open at 6:30 for a bring-your-own dinner together. Kids check-in opens at 6:45, and we’ll kick off the program with worship led by Daniel Jackson at 7:00.
On April 5th, we are going to tackle the idea of “worship” and “song” and see what they are and how they are for our good. I encourage you to set aside time that evening and join us for food, song, teaching, conversation and prayer – I trust it is for our good!
