Habitat Projects
Too many of our neighbors here on the west side live in homes that are in significant disrepair. From leaky roofs, to flooding basements, to sagging floors, to rotting drywall—there are plenty of opportunities for the Warehouse community to offer a “hand up,” and not a handout.
Warehouse has an intentional partnership with Habitat for Humanity to help serve our neighbors practically. In a church replete with men and women who know their way around a Home Depot, a kitchen renovation, and a lengthy do-it-yourself task list, Warehouse is eager and ready to invest significant sweat equity in the Camp Greene and Westerly Hills neighborhoods.
We are always on the lookout for volunteers with project management, construction and repair gifts. Additionally, opportunities abound for volunteers with the gift of hospitality to bring breakfast or lunch for volunteer work crews, and to visit and pray with the neighbors we serve. There are also great opportunities for contractors and sub-contractors to make “in kind” donations with our construction projects.
