Here are the details from the announcements you heard during the service on Sunday, and other news you’re looking for:

Are you ready to pursue financial freedom?
In the past 2 summers, 137 people attended Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University at Warehouse, and the results are inspiring. The participants slashed an average of $7,202 of debt, and added up an average of over $21,780 worth of savings. Translation? This 13-week course works.

This summer’s class will be every Sunday, beginning June 3rd for 13 weeks, from 5:30-7:30PM. Childcare is included.

Are you new at Warehouse 242, or do you simply want to know how to get more involved? If so, we’d love to help you learn who Warehouse is, how Small Groups work, and how to plug in through meaningful Service.

Here’s how you can dive in:

Step One: Come back.
Step Two: Get involved with people.
Step Three: Serve on a team.
Lather, rinse, repeat.

“They devoted themselves to the apostle’s teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

When here on Sunday, you’ll find people who would love to pray for you in the prayer room after each service. Or, you can fill out a prayer card and drop it in one of the yellow boxes. But during the week, you can still reach someone for prayer. Just email our prayer team at prayer@warehouse242.org

Artists. Meeting. Creating. Arguing. Working.
We meet on the third Tuesday for our monthly time together. Bring your thoughts, your ideas, and something to work on as we gather and talk art. From 7-9 p.m. at the Caribou Coffee on East Blvd.

In the days and weeks to come, we’d like to give you a glimpse of the “faces” of LiveBirds, the Zimbabwean employees hard at work making the business sustainable. Our first spotlight falls on “Bob.” Check out his story here.

Our hope is that you can join us in the full reality of possibility of the Income Generating Activity God is creating. If you’d like more information, have questions, or want to share your talents, please email us at africa@warehouse242.org

> PROJECT 345/365

An entire year of ways to interact with the Bible. How will you join in the challenge in 2012?
In 2011, we took the challenge to read the New Testament together with Project 345. Many of you participated in the daily Bible reading plan that walked you through each book of the New Testament in only 3 minutes and 45 seconds a day. We’ve heard lots of good stories about people diving into the Bible for the first time through Project 345. If you finished the Plan successfully, way to go! If you’re ready for a do-over, there’s no better time than now to dive back in.

We know this style of Bible reading doesn’t work for everyone, and that’s okay. For those of you who really benefit from a daily, customized plan, we encourage you to check out the other terrific resources available at YouVersion.com. If you’re ready to tackle the Old Testament, or if you’d rather try a different reading plan, YouVersion is an awesome resource.

Regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey, nothing serves us like reading the Bible. The people in our community who are growing spiritually are the ones who are interacting regularly with Scripture. The new year is a great time to start anew.

> Space to take notes or save thoughts.
> Links to videos or other media used.
> Social networking links [like Facebook and Twitter]
> Prayer request links.
> Listing of all the music and media we used, in case you want to look for it elsewhere. (to work with the “what was the name of that song? oh, and who sings it?”)
> Links to the Take It Further writing done by the TIF team.
