Here are the details from the announcements you heard during the service on Sunday, and other news you’re looking for:
> Bishop Spaugh / Year-End Report
Last Tuesday, June 8th, Marc dropped off 300 frozen burgers, along with scores of buns and condiments at Bishop Spaugh for Wednesday’s 8th Grade Block Party–a year-end celebration for the 180 students who are moving on to high school. Put another way, these are 180 students who are not dropping out. What an accomplishment.
Overall, consider the progress our neighborhood middle school made this year:
• End of Grade (EOG) scores leaped 10% points from last year.
• They fulfilled their federal No Child Left Behind Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) goals.
• They are no longer the lowest performing middle school in the district.
Warehouse has reason to celebrate. Our community:
-Prayer walked the campus grounds
-Supplied backpacks filled with school supplies for every student
-Mentored the most at-risk students
-Proctored the EOG test
-Collected Box Tops for their benefit
-Linked our Harris Teeter VIC cards for “Together in Education”
-Contributed to a 400% increase in donations from Target by using our Red Cards when we bought toothpaste, tank tops, and Tostitos.
> Millennial Research Team / June 20
So, after being around for 10 years, we’re talking about what the next 10 years could look like for Warehouse and how we can impact Charlotte. As part of that strategic planning process, we are always exploring ways to communicate the Gospel with relevance to the next generation of Charlotteans. So, if you were born after 1980, and would like to be part of a new team charged with helping Warehouse explore its creative edge for the next 10 years, please e-mail us at future@warehouse242.org
We’re meeting after the second service on June 20. We’re going to be talking to all of you about this over the next few months — but for this particular piece of the puzzle — there’s a limited number of seats around the table. Please contact us before June 14 to reserve your place in a discussion about how we’ll impact Charlotte. If you want to participate, but will be out of town on the 20th, please e-mail and let us know.
> Studio 242 / Third Tuesday / June 15
Studio is the creative core of Warehouse 242. We meet the third Tuesday of the month at the Caribou on East Blvd. For more info about Studio, check out warehouse242.org/studio

Take It Further/Resources/Links/Music
We’re expanding the Sunday experience digitally! We invite you to dive in both during and after Sunday’s event. Most weeks you’ll find features like these:
> Exact scripture references and reminders.
> Space to take notes or save thoughts.
> Links to videos or other media used.
> Social networking links [like Facebook and Twitter]
> Prayer request links.
> Listing of all the music and media we used, in case you want to look for it elsewhere. (to work with the “what was the name of that song? oh, and who sings it?”)
> Links to the Take It Further writing done by the TIF team.
Check out this new web resource at warehouse242.org/live, or go directly to youversion.com
> We are a community that prays.
When here on Sunday, you’ll find people who would love to pray for you in the prayer room after each service. Or, you can fill out a prayer card and drop it in one of the yellow boxes. But during the week, you can still reach someone for prayer. Just e-mail our prayer team at prayer@warehouse242.org
> [entrypoint]
On the first Sunday of each month, we host [entrypoint]. Join us in the coffee room after the 10:40 service for an informal time to become acquainted with opportunities for service and community at Warehouse. Light snacks and refreshments will be served. Childcare is provided. The next date is July 4th.
> Box Tops for Bishop Spaugh
We’re collecting Box Tops to raise money for Bishop Spaugh Middle School–our neighborhood middle school located less than 1 mile away in Camp Greene.
If you are saving up Box Tops at home, bring them to the Serve/Engage Kiosk or the Kidz Check-in table.
For a complete list of items that carry the Box Tops for Education logo, pick up a flyer at the Serve/Engage kiosk, or click here.
