KALEID on September 11
Join us on Friday, September 11 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Art Gallery for a time of guided prayer and meditation, photography by Melissa Lukenbaugh, and the opportunity to personally hear from the HOPE for AIDS Program Manager in Zimbabwe.
Through this interactive event you will learn how to:
> interact intimately with God in everyday moments (like taking in art)
> pray specifically for Warehouse’s partnership with SIM Hope for AIDS in Zimbabwe
> and be personally transformed through partnering with the church in Zimbabwe
Childcare will be available.
If you want to know what Warehouse is doing in Africa, you won’t want to miss this.

Supplies for Books Bags for Bishop Spaugh Community Academy
Thanks to those of you who purchased backpacks and supplies for our Camp Greene middle school, Bishop Spaugh Community Academy. Through a generous contribution, we have reached our goal of 600 backpacks! And then some!
The brand-new Principal at Bishop Spaugh – the lowest performing middle school in the entire state of North Carolina – has asked for our help in providing her at-risk students with basic school supplies. Located less than one mile from Warehouse, these students are ready for us to help them succeed.
Place your donated supplies in the collection barrels next to the Engage/Serve kiosk on Sundays throughout September.
Here’s your shopping list:
> 3” 3-ring binders
> 3-hole punched lined paper
> No. 2 pencils & pencil sharpener
> Colored pencils
> One subject notebook
> Dividers for binders
> Pencil pouch for binder
> Glue sticks
We exist to serve our neighbors, and this is how our neighbors have asked for our help.

Target Red Check Card / Take Charge of Education
We still want to encourage you to go get a Target Red Check Card so that your Target purchases benefit our neighbors.
Since we began promoting this, only about 20 people have signed up to help our neighborhood middle schoolers. How do we know? You can check the total number of new cardholders (excluding their names, of course) on the Target web site. Surely we can do better than this! Please pick up a flyer before you leave today!
Since we began promoting this, some of you have asked us, “Can we link our VIC card to Bishop Spaugh as well?” You sure can! Go to the Harris Teeter Web Site and enter Bishop Spuagh’s code: 1516.
If you forget this number, head to the warehouse web site, and click on “the skinny.” We’ll have the Harris Teeter link waiting for you there.
Bishop Spaugh is currently not enrolled in the Food Lion, Bi-Lo and Bloom programs, but we are working to make that happen!
To sign-up for a Red Card, take a blank check to Target during your next visit, and speak to a Customer Service representative about applying. The process will take less than 10 minutes.

We exist so that our neighbors will rejoice by our presence in the neighborhood. Practically serving them doesn’t get much easier than this!
Warehouse is built for you to dive in and engage a movement, not sit back and have spiritual pizza deliveries delivered to you. If you want to engage, here are a few places to start:
