Deacons
Deacons are servant leaders at Warehouse 242, committed to following God in community. They are essential advocates of the mission and values of Warehouse 242.
Warehouse is currently receiving nominations from the congregation for new Deacons. As you consider nominating someone, please read this important passage of Scripture. Also, remember that Deacons are not simply volunteers who log the most hours week-to-week. Rather, they are proven leaders in the community who are called by God to become officers in his church.
Deacons host the weekly gatherings, care for the needs of guests and regular attendees, serve communion, lead ministry areas, and passionately carry out our mission through servant leadership.
Because Deacons are elected to their post by the congregation, candidates are asked to complete a short nomination form, and participate in an interview with representatives from the staff and our elders.
The current Board of Deacons at Warehouse, and their accompanying area of oversight are:
> Marcia Queen / Greeting
> Jeff Millspaugh / Facility
> Jim Bunting / Parking
> Jess Fischli / At-Large
Warehouse is receiving nominations up until December 1. To nominate a Participating Member of Warehouse for the position of Deacon, please email deacons@warehouse242.org
Warehouse is built for you to dive in and engage a movement, not sit back and have spiritual pizza deliveries delivered to you. If you want to engage, here are a few places to start:
