The Skinny: December 24, 2017

Headlines & Sunday Announcements

ONE SERVICE BEGINNING DECEMBER 24

Beginning the morning of December 24, we will start gathering for one service only at 10am. There are several reasons for this, not the least of which is we just love having all of you in the room at the same time! In addition to providing a more vibrant time of worship, moving to one service will free up time before and after for other classes and spiritual development opportunities.

NEW OPPORTUNITIES IN KIDS WAREHOUSE

For the past couple of weeks you have been hearing about some exciting changes happening in Kids Warehouse. Because we will be switching to a new model, we have opportunities for volunteers to connect with kids in deep ways. We are looking for folks who would like to serve on a monthly basis with the infants, ones, and twos, and also for people who are passionate about building relationships with kids three years old through 5th grade as a unit volunteer – serving for 4-5 weeks at a time. We’d love to tell you more about it! Contact Nicole Walker to learn more!

YEAR END GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

As 2017 draws to a close, we wanted to give you information you’ll need to make new year-end financial gifts, or catch up on your monthly gifts. We also have options for employer matching gifts, and donations of appreciated stock.
