The Skinny: October 8, 2017
Headlines & Sunday Announcements
Sunday, October 15 @ 12:15pm
Loading Dock provides information about who we are, what we believe, and what we expect of our Participating Members. This class will meet after the second service on Sunday, October 15 (around 12:15pm) upstairs in the Blue Room. Lunch will be provided and, yes, we’ll watch the kids so you can attend.
JUSTICE LISTENING EVENT
Sunday, October 15 @ 12pm / The Coffee Room
Who are we? Who are we made up of? How is God moving in your life and in the collective life of Warehouse 242? We’re listening within and beyond the walls of W242 as we discern Focused Justice Pathways for 2018. Come lend your voice, share your passions and gifts, and pray for God’s movement for justice.
We’ll gather in the coffee room right after second service. Childcare and snacks will be provided.
LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR
Wednesday, October 11 @ 6:30pm
One of the ways we love our neighbors is by praying for them. Join us for this critical evening of launching prayers triplets and talking about how to listen to and interact with our neighbors who are not currently following Jesus. If you call Warehouse 242 your church home, we want you there!
Childcare is provided, and check-in opens at 6:15pm.
October 20-22 @ Montreat
Matt Bradner is the guest speaker this year, and he’s phenomenal. Plus, we’ll have some great adventures to sign up for, the food is fantastic, and the company even better! The cost of the retreat is $160. It only takes a $50 deposit to secure your spot. Registration closes and full payment is due on October 9.
If you have questions or need more info about payment options and scholarship opportunities, contact Ryan at firstname.lastname@example.org
