West Side Community Listening Project Big Picnic

July 26 @ 5:30pm / Seversville Park

In partnership with the West Side Community Land Trust, QC Family Tree interns and high schoolers have been engaged in a Community Listening Project this summer. Throughout the past several weeks, they have visited with West Side residents and asked them to share stories on “What makes you feel at home? What is your favorite part of this neighborhood?” They have collected audio and visual stories and will post them online as well as give them to local visual and musical artists to reinterpret in various forms. On July 26th, the music, visuals, and other community engaged art will be exhibited at a big picnic celebration of this project.
